Rob, the NJGOP has been a feckless entity for decades now. None of this is new. But we are way beyond mere politics at this point. The issues are far more profound than that. The country is morally and culturally rotting to the core. Marxism and Islamism are metastasizing all around us. We're at war. And changes to the NJGOP apparatus, while needed, are not going to be sufficient enough to win that battle.

Thanks for your comment. You are correct. We need to recharge the hearts, minds and spirits of all Republicans and not only them, but to all others as well. We can't lose hope, there are those of us out there ready, willing and able to fight that fight!

Well, I think if we had a candidate like Jack (who I liked) but was a bit younger (40’s) and stayed off the Trump alignment he might have won. I’m a Trump voter but the local vibe is the economy stinks (many I know having a hard time) & they have a solid point. But the chief reason I totally believe is ELECTION FRAUD. Everything about our process is a crime scene (signing up anybody at the MVC to vote; mail in ballots; bomb threats/machines breaking; no ID required; etc). So try again we will, but the glaring problem needs to be fixed by our President. I pray he does soon.

John Adams "Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” He & other founding fathers believed that governance must derive its being from internal virtues and values that issue forth within people because they respect and believe in God, the Judeo-Christian God Who gave us the 10 Commandments. These values become manifest in both private and public life. Individuals do have faith in God and many live their lives accordingly. However overall the society is more and more secular. A culture of violence and death is overcoming our life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Does the current GOP leadership in any state or in Wash DC have a moral compass based on belief in God and His Ten Commandments that would give them the internal strength to address the issues you address? Thank you

Jack is a good candidate but MAGA and Trump were albatrosses for him. The third run and his age are not as big a problem as the weather vane element of taking a Trump endorsement this third time. It's an impossible task for Republicans in the MAGA age. Jack may be moderate but it's hard to determine how much of that would have prevailed if he had won in this environment.

Yes, build a bench that is ready for what is next. Populism is fickle don't build upon that foundation.
